2024-2025 Season Information
Ages
Moose Youth Hockey Mite Program provides hockey for skaters ages 4 to 9.
Parent Meeting
Parent meetings are to be determined. Watch for communication once teams are formed.
jerseys
All skaters will receive a jersey for the season with their name and team sponsor.
When
The mite season begins at the end of September and ends early March.
Mite practices typically take place Saturday and Sunday mornings at the Moose Sherritt Ice Arena. There may be occasional scrimmages that are scheduled outside of our home rink.
All teams participate in an end of the year jamboree to finish off the season. There are two additional opportunities to participate in jamborees at an additional fee dependent upon the jamboree registration fees.
The top team, Mite A, has additional practices during the week that will have an additional cost if offered and accepted a position on the team.

volunteer requirements
Volunteer requirements for the 2024-2025 hockey season are 10 hours per player, with a max of 25 hours per family. Families with three or more skaters will be capped at 25 hours for the season.
A $100 no-show fee will be assessed for the first offense, any additional no-shows to claimed shifts will result in your deposit(s) being charged to the card on file. Continuous tardies to shifts will be subject to a no-show fee being assessed.

Do you provide equipment?
We have limited equipment available to loan out. You will want to reach out to our Equipment Manager, Eric Metso, found under the Board of Directors page.
